Installers and end users are increasingly looking for opportunities to improve the efficiency and lifespan of central heating and cooling installations. As a result, the worldwide demand for automatic Flexvent Float Air Vents is increasing. To meet this requirement, Flamco is constantly innovating in the production area and is implementing some smart product improvements.
All Flexvent Air Vents with valve sleeve and bubble breaker will be upgraded. The improvements allows for an easier install and maximises the performance with only a few practical modifications. In the first place, the protective cap is provided with leakage prevention. This prevents water from running out of the system. The rotatable cap now has a secure screw cap against possible loss. A second improvement is the self-sealing cut-in gasket of the valve sleeve, which eliminates the need for sealing tape.
In January, the first renewed Flexvent air vents rolled off the production line in Wijhe. To make it easier for the wholesaler, Flamco has not changed the article numbers. Installers can access the installation manual from anywhere thanks to the QR code on the packaging. Due to this paper reduction, Flamco saves almost 400 trees on an annual basis.
Flexvent air vents are suitable for closed-loop central heating and cooling installations with glycol solutions up to 50%. They are mounted at the highest point of an installation to automatically discharge larger air bubbles in the system. This air can cause corrosion and reduce the thermal transfer of the system.
